Compliance Assessment
Learn each step that is needed to get your documentations compliance assessed by our Compliance Assessment service.

Introduction
In this tutorial you will learn the process of using our Compliance Assessment Tool. From uploading your document to receiving your results, this tutorial will guide you through each step of the way.
Uploading Your Document
To get started, you will need to upload your document. Click the "Upload Files" area and select the file you want to assess. The tool only supports PDF format. Once uploaded, you will be able to see your document in the list of uploaded files. If this was not the document you meant to add, you can remove it by clicking the bin icon button to the right of the file name.
Searching Through Questions
Within the Search Questions area, there is a search bar which can be used to filter through the list of questions beneath. Remember to click search or press Enter once you have entered your desired characters to initiate the search. Category, Question, and Tag are included in the search.
Selecting Questions
To select a question that you want to be included in the compliance assessment, you can click the checkboxes to the left hand side of the questions. If you want to select an entire category to be used in the assessment, click the checkbox next to the category name. If you want every question from every category to be used in the assessment, click the Select all button to the top right of the Select Questions section
Adding Custom Questions
If you would like to add your own question into the assessment you can use the Add Custom Questions area. This consists of an input area where you can enter your question. Once you are happy with your question, click the Add Question button to add it to the list of questions. Make sure to click the checkbox next to your question to include it in the assessment.
Beginning the Assessment
Once you have added your documentation & selected at least one question, the Begin Assessment button will be activated. Clicking this button will start the assessment process. This may take a few minutes depending on the size of your document and the number of questions you have selected. You will be redirected to your assessment results page when it has been completed.
Viewing Your Results
After your assessment has been completed and your page has been redirected, your assessment results will be visible. Clicking the category name will expand the results to show you the questions that were asked and the answers that were given. If you have added custom questions, these will be shown at the bottom of the results.
Summarizing Your Results
If you have a lot of results, it might be a lot to take in. By selecting the Executive Summary tab you will be shown a panel that allows your to generate an LLM summary. This will take a few minutes to generate, but once it is done you will be able to see a summary of your results. This is a great way to get a quick overview of your assessment with details on how you can improve your documentation.
Exporting Your Results
At the top right of the Assessment Results tab theres an Export PDF button which can be used to download a PDF file your assessments questions and answers. This is a great way to keep a record of your assessment and share it with others.
Asking Additional Questions
If theres more questions you need answering that you failed to think of pre-assessment you can click onto the Additional Questions tab which will allow you to ask more questions as if you were in CyRail Assist but with context of your documentation.
